The virus filtering service updates definitions continuously for you, using a worldwide virus-monitoring network that looks for new viruses and subtle changes in old ones so virus definitions stay current. Not only will virus scanning of malicious Email viruses prove extremely valuable to you, but it also saves time by scanning messages behind the scenes. You are only notified when a virus is found in a message. If a virus is detected, the message is quarantined before it ever reaches your machine. From the End User Control Panel the infected message can be safely reviewed and deleted or delivered.

Junk Email Filtering - Like the virus filtering, the spam filter works behind the scenes before the junk mail arrives at your inbox, saving time and bandwidth. You set up the filter to your specifications. Besides blocking unsolicited bulk Email, you can also select from a list of filter categories. You determine how rigorous the filters should be in capturing suspect Email by selecting a filter sensitivity setting from lenient (10) to very aggressive (1). You can list approved senders whose mail will always flow directly through and blocked senders whose mail will always be stopped. Settings may be readjusted at any time.
